TO99-8 green 7 segment LED display (CA)

Schematic

     The 1764 series of 7 segment LED displays are packaged in TO99-8 metal cans (TO5-8) and can be supplied in either common anode or common cathode configurations. Each segment consists of two 0201 high efficiency LEDs connected in series with a max current of 20mA however 2mA is the typical maximum drive current due to their exceptional brightness (The display pictured on the proto board is operating at 5V/500uA driven from a 7447 with open collector outputs).  Although these will typically operate from a 5V supply, the yellow to white options may need up to 7.1V, with 8V recommended to ensure operation.

Colors available:

• Red     Vf: 3.1-4.7V
• Orange  Vf: 3.0-4.4V
• Yellow  Vf: 3.1-7.1V
• Green   Vf: 4.6-6.2V
• Blue    Vf: 4.6-6.2V
• White   Vf: 5.0-5.8V
