Description
The 1472 is a small 39 x 39 pad x 0.05" pitch "Squares" board for prototyping small SMT circuits: The pad spacing is perfect for 0402 and 0603 chip components as well as 0.05" pitch SOIC ICs and SMT transistors. The back side is bare to allow this board to adhered to live circuits and a ground plane can be added to the back using simple copper tape. This board is thin enough to cut with scissors.
Note: When prototyping with ceramic capacitors, avoid using large amounts of solder on the end terminations! It is common to build up circuit paths using solder but this can lead to the end caps breaking off due to the shrinkage of solder when it cools.
